hi

whats nerf hobby? sorry i m not native english speaker ;-)

To my point of view the HL Leopard do have one of the weekest Heng Long hulls, and i knew all the lidel thinks wich comes to the Hulls wenn thay becomes older. So I want to have somthing in side my Leopard what will save me for all the lidel damages.
Sure the most are not bateling and the most don t drive realy much so yes this enforcment is maybe not needed.
But if you made your tank haviere with alle metal tracks , roadweels, spezial sound , spezial electronick (you can put in alot in a leopard) you will easyly reach 7-9kg and that is a whight the HL hull is not made for, expezily if you want to drive like a real Leopard does.

[QUOTE=chris3BK;11748909]hi

jes you haven an Tamiya leopard the suspension mounting is very divenet to the HL system and very well. The main reason because i have doen it here at the HL Chasi was to get fix points for the Suspension and a fix platform for the gearbox.
In standart HL setup you are able to move the sproket up and down nearly 5 mm with only your fingers, and thats was for me the final point to start working on that improfment.
You know a simple gear box brace plate would cure that for you.

This is what I mean. This blaster in particular needs reinforcement if you are going for a bigger spring. This is my personal war blaster and I have spent close to $250 AUD. So really, in both hobbies, reinforcing the "toy" may lead to longer life.

I like how you can just see my Panzer IV and an old Sherman turret in the background. So, technically, it's RC tank related.

Hi

@panther

If i only want a fix gear box, yes.
But a well working roadweel system need fix schwingarms, fix leading weels and a fix sprocket.
If the thinks are not fix it will couse problems relativ soon.

Christian, will you be making this kit available in a conversion form to allow Tamiya Leopard 2A6 owners to convert their tanks to a 2A4? Offhand I think it entails the turret, side skirts and changing the driver's hatch. If you could configure it such that the DMD T-07 remains in the turret that would be great - but it means we got to figure out how to relocate the batteries to the lower hull with the speakers. As stock, the Tamiya Leopard's turret is stuffed to the brim with electronics, wires, and other stuff.

hi

I wish i could do that, but at the moment i do not have a Tamiya Leopard here, so i can t do the needed mesurments to do the needed changes. But I think you don t need to change much, its like an emty hull wich you can modivy to your own wishes easy.

Christian.

Can you provide a direct link to where this turret is available on your website. I have a great interest in it as Canada just recently upgraded a bunch of 2A4's

Cheers

hi

than you guys :-).

i knew my side confuses a bit expezialy most is in german.
here a lidel explanation.

this is my main side

http://www.ludwigs-hobby-seite.de

here you need to klick on the shop link at the left top

than you are here:

http://www.ludwigs-hobby-seite.de/flohmarkt.html

thats relativ easy sofar i think.

but on this side the most underlined left hand links are main topiks

like Deutsche Panzerfahrzeuge (german armor)

you need to klick on that to finde my german armor kits. lidel below i have an extra link for liedel details and so on.

On this side are 29 kits listed and the leopard 2a4 is below after the seperation line betwin ww2 and postwar tanks.

here is the Leopard 2a4 Link :-)

hope i could help a bit to understand my side, i realy have trouble to handel over 800 position so everthing is easy to finde lol

Awesome builds, I noticed on my HL Leo there are holes next to the suspension arm mounts, is this due to the close copy they did of the Tamiya and they are for mounting something else Tmiya has in theirs, I can see using them to mount plates on the inside like you did and seems like a good idea, do you sell the inside plates, i was going to just plug them up but if i can get some support built I will just leave them for now.

Im not sure how close the HL Lower hull is to the Tamiya, but i think that the diverent must be relativ big, but do not have a own tamiya leopard to see.

Yes you can finde my lepard stuff on my side.

Here is video of the Canadian rebuilt 2A4 when they received them. IF you ever wanted to do an add on armor kit, you would make me happy and some others as well.

Christian I started to install the supports I bought from you and I have a question, since all the post for attatching the top to the bottom are removed how are you keeping the two together, I have some ideas I may go with but was wondering what route you went with and any pics of how you did it.

This is Phenomenal! The 2A4 is probably my favorite Leo. I would be interested in the parts to build one also!
