Default Final paint job for the T34/85 is here!! Come take a look!

Hey fellow tankers,
I got the go ahead to release the T34's paint job for everyone to look at. This is now my new favorite paint scheme! We have been delayed a bit on the release, it is looking more towards June-July before before we will have a release unlike the end of Q1 that we wanted. The Torro tanks will also be incoming around then too, I just wanted to update you guys on the status

Nice to see that the wheels look a lot more closer to the real thing than the HL wheels! I noticed that the turret has the same number marking as the WSN/Torro T-34, will we see other marking options as well?

Isn't this the same thing the WSN was produced with over the last few years

My guess is that someone came into possession of the airbrush stencils that were used to paint the WSN models, in terms of mass-production it would be faster I think.

With so much stuff in the works a few things got pushed back. We hoped to have it by the end of Q1 but it is looking like Q2 now. Plus it doesnt help that every time we try to ship large amounts of tanks into the US, customs hits us for a long "inspection."

Yea it seems to be the common scheme. I still think ours looks better though

.Any details about gearboxes, recoil and suspension are known?

- torsion bars ?
- standard 4:1 steel gearboxes ?
- what type of recoil unit ?
- turret rotation 360 degree or not ?

NIce...but nothing exciting...it's the chassis and suspension that count . Personally I'm drooling for the Challenger

Yes, they are known... to me
No torsion bars, it will be spring based, but done nicely.
Yes steel gearboxes.
It will be our standard IR recoil unit, demo video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aT0Q7GhbHw
Yes 360 degree turret will be installed.

Yes the chassis and suspension will be very nice As for the Chally, I haven't forgot about it. I am almost caught up on my work and will be back in tank mode shortly.

It looks average but that is in no way a complaint, id rather they didn't do anything too elaborate to keep costs down and so I don't feel bad about repainting it to suit my needs.

I bought the HL version with metal tracks as soon as it came out. I will buy the Taigen when it comes out and test the two against each other. The loser will be repainted in (my secret aberration) candy apple red just like the cars I built as a kid. Yes, I will flame it. Stand by in the second quarter for pictures. Come to think of it, this could be a killer battle tank - people will be laughing so hard that they will be dead before they know what hit them. Now if I can just find some documentary proof of the color. Remember the US Navy had a pink submarine in the Second World War for at least part of one patrol.

Ha, it wont be hard to pick a winner that is for sure. Metal lower chassis, metal drive and idler wheels, metal road wheels, new metal turret, steel gearboxes... etc. There is a picture here on the forums of a gold tank with LED flames for the exhaust, you should do something like that to it

I dont have exact prices yet but since it will be a metal HC version it will probably be close to the Tiger 1 in price. Dont quote me yet though

Suggestions? I can always get it changed. More below...

It will not be in a kit form.

As for paint you guys dont seem too thrilled about this one. I can still have the scheme changed if you dont mind giving me some suggestions. Would it be better if we did the stencil different? The only thing I ask is that it is historically correct. Post what you want or what you already have and lets see what I can do

Thumbs up

Eric... if this is going to have all that you say it will:

"Metal lower chassis, metal drive and idler wheels, metal road wheels, new metal turret, steel gearboxes... etc.

Hopefully an option on roadwheels too... all metal!

Then I'm sold! I have sooooo many Russian projects that this will work out GREAT! So it doesn't matter to me if it looks like the WSN tank (which I have) we can paint or whatever to change it. Just let's see it released soon!

I'll look it over in a few min. Feel free to post a shot of one, most that I found have this exact theme. Is it the stencil that everyone doesnt like? I thought the base and weathering looked pretty good.

Of course metal road wheels with rubber tires will be there too
I am serious though guys, I can still change the paint job at this point. If you guys think it should be changed let me know. Give me some ideas here! I will be asking for everyone's help on another project soon too, though it will be of much larger magnitude.

Are you referring to my baby! Don't forget the carbon fiber spoiler too.

The chrome paint job makes it really dangerous to battle against.

Fortunately you don't have to do much...just do something different on the stenciling is all...maybe even something with the red star to add a dash of color!

I love that tank! Yea that is the one I was talking about. The only thing that tank is missing is spinners... or possibly some 150 spoke dayton rims lol.

Yes I agree. Russian Green with some weathering and a decal sheet would be my preference
