Default Asiatam

It must be just me as I've not heard or read about anyone else having problems but I've not been
able to hit the Asiatam website in quite some while. Did they change their site URL?

Response Error.

Technical description:
502 Bad Gateway - Response Error, a bad response was received from another proxy server or the destination origin server.

This the only supposedly active site I try that's giving this response.

Hmmm it's interesting. None of the devices on either ring of my network can hit Asiatam's site, not even my iPhone. Yet one device that
uses a VPN tunnel to a company network can get to it.... hmmmmm. There's a block somewhere and I didn't put it there.

Where's my girlfriend??? I shouldn't have told her I was thinking of buying more Asiatam stuff...

I'm curious - can anyone here on the forum using Pacbell's ISP service ( Uverse) try hitting Asiatam's site? Post your results please.

A tracert is revealing ( The 'hiddens' are mine):

C:\Windows\System32>tracert www.asiatam.com

Tracing route to www.asiatam.com [89.31.143.100]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 'hidden'
2 1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 'hidden'
3 24 ms 28 ms 23 ms 75-48-76-2.lightspeed.cncrca.sbcglobal.net [75.48.76.2]

Just btw, Norton (before I uninstalled that crap and replaced with Comodo) labeled their site as harmful on my PC since it leaves "tracking cookies" on your computer. What firewall/antivirus you use? After I switched to Comodo I set up a sandbox for my browser and haven't had a problem since. Strange enough though I could still visit the site though, I just got warnings everywhere.

Finally received a reply from ATT Uverse regarding this issue:

Jerry,

I apologize about any misunderstanding my previous response caused. I was able to confirm the traffic for this site has been blocked on AT&T's network. You or any U-verse customer will not be able to reach this site until the site owner for this IP resolves the activity targeting AT&T. When a site is blocked like this, we notify the site about the activity. It is up to the site or its owner to respond or ignore the information we provide. We advise the users reporting the unavailability of the site to notify the site owner to contact AT&T in an effort to get a response. I recommend submitting your request to them while you are able to access the site on VPN or another network as you previously reported you were able to access the site. In some cases, the site responds to its users letting them know they have already contacted [email protected] and this would result in further investigation on our end between the site owner and AT&T.

Regards,

SadathCS

So it isn't just my imagination. It's actively being blocked by AT&T due to some sort of perceived attack on AT&T's network.

I sent an email to Asiatam earlier tonight. Hopefully they can work on getting their site unblocked.
