Hey guys, seen some tankers installing flanged bearings on their HL tanks, was wondering if anybody might have more info(size/part#/ etc.), as I would like to do this to my ZTZ....thanks!

If you know anyone with an unused pair of Rollerblades, the bearings in them are the perfect ID for HL shafts. My son had a pair he barely used, those bearings are excellent, even if you need to buy some.

I believe you need flanged ball bearings with 7.9 or 8mm inner diameter, a quick ebay search will bring up some results but Welsh Dragon and RCTank.de both sell them too, like these for example:

Make sure you measure both of your drive shafts with a set of calipers to get the proper diameter. You may need to modify the lower hull to accommodate them.

Skateboard bearings are also the same size, generally.
