More picts and a bit of information please…..

The M-24 (along with the M-18 Hellcat) is a tank I'd love to have.

Hi Fynsdad
Nice. Is that an M26 hull you've used as the basis - wheel spacing suggests that, rather than the M41?

Yes it is. The M26's wheels are closer together allowing the chassis to be shorter than it would be with the M41 one

No, I'm very interested and hope you post more pics. I would like to know how you formed the turret so nicely though.

Thanks Again.

There's not too many more pics I'm afraid. This was a strange build, I didn't really enjoy it as I took a lot of stick from a couple of guys on another forum because, for reliability, I used a Pzr3 sprocket, and how I should have scratchbuilt one, even though I don't think these "experts" have done much more than sprayed a couple of Heng longs so it was just a case of get it finished and sell it on, (to someone who's very happy with it).
...as to the turret it's just plasticard with a lot of filler/sanding to the cast "nose".......

That I can show... basically took the last roadwheel off, and a strip down the middle to get her narrower and shorter. Gearboxes on a plate which is then fixed into position...

its a great work nicely done , three years ago i saw a real chaffee next to a sherman ... it looks as if yours is a little to big ... but still its beautiful scratch work

what i remembered of the chaffee he was even tiny against a sherman (105mm) honestly i was disappointed then of it ... can it be a bit to width or is that optical disillusion ?

this year he will be back on Wings and wheels in 23-24 august i bet ... but still my favourite although a hellcat is the max ...
well done mate
