Danville september battleday - is it on?

Got confirmation from museum that the Sept event is on. Working on schedule and details of battles, then I'll post it up.
Going to be a lot of platoon building type battles this time around.

Is your tank event going to be September 19th-21st? That is bad news! I really wanted to come and see the event, Brenda and I had a good time at the last event and I have a bunch more questions for you guys. The weekend your having the tank event is the same as the U.S. Scale Masters Championships up in Rosewood IN.
If your going to have another event this year I'll be watching for a post on that news, after the Scale Masters this September the contest season is pretty much done so I'll have time to goof off from the R/C airplanes,

NEAD is the North East Armored Division. A tank club located in the Northeast mainly around NY and NJ. ACE will be hosting the Sept event while our brothers in NEAD are hosting the Nov. event. I'll be starting a new thread on the Sept event today or tomorrow.

I know he has been very active on the HEAT site Dana. I have been reading his posts for a long time there. Please tell him to chime in on RCU too. He seems like a great guy.

The Comfort Inn is great. Nice pool. hot free breakfast and they allow pets too on some floors. Be sure to mention the AAF Tank Mus. to get the discounted rate. About $70 or so. I also sometimes stay at the InnKeeper motel which is often under $50. Fuel there was under $2.98 a gallon....lowest I found on the east coast.

Let me re-phrase that... the only way I could go is if I flew, someone grabbed me at the airport (wherever that is) and of course, got my own room and oh, borrowed a tank.
The wifey cannot go this time.

Room share is usually a last minute thing Jeff. I don't know whether I am solo or not yet? Just a bit too early to know. A single room at the InnKeeper should run about $45 (ask for Monique tell her you are with Bob of NJ from the Tank Mus). And a bit more at Comfort Inn. Mention the AAF Tank Mus and push for the lowest price. I will gladly help you with local transport too. I carried my tank in my carry on bag to Europe last month so Martin and I could do IR tank battle in Normandy.
