New mato gear released
Subject to ask from your dealers...
At the moment ready to go for Tiger-1 and KingTiger... This brass gearbox is with steel shell. The construction makes it more steady in the tank.

The output shafts are steel as well. It is nice to see the quality improving. The HL upgrades are starting to be serious upgrades that will be challenging the standards set by Tamiya.
Metal suspension arms, metal wheels with bearings, separate tires, new gearboxes, etc all make the upgrade path a pleasant one.

Hal,
Where is the website with those? They look like the older Mato 2.0s but with low motors that sit side-by-side like the Asiatam brass boxes. Do they have ball bearings for each gear run and are they geared down (3:1 or 4:1) from the standard HL gearing? I like that they come with a metal mounting plate.
TIA

Two more upgrades will come soon + they have at the moment about 10 new upgrades for Sherman and expecting Sherman in metal soon...

Waltersons has been working on a set with Bearings, all stainless shafts and steel gears. I have a pre production set. things are going slow but I think they will be done shortly. these look like they would be great in a sherman or pz III, pzIV
