I believe you. Tell Bob to share my credit card and checking info with you. I moved some funds from my off-shore accounts into my checking for you guys. I hope a few hundred k's will help out.

I want to raise all of the money I can to help Bob. All of the profits from selling my tank collection will go to a rescue fund for Bob. Each tank will be offered for only $5,000 (cash, no checks)

The downside of this compromise is that I got a bogus email from someone named Larry Smith email ([email protected]) about a check of 100,000 in my name... and it used my real name not just my email. It referred me to an email contact in France [email protected] This is not good. It was done in the same font set as yesterdays email.

I was out all day Friday upstate NY and NOT in the Philippines giving thieves target practice. My email has been repass-worded and hope while is did provide amusement for many, that I cause none of you any hardship.

I just replied to the email. This is what I wrote:
"Hey Bob,
Dude! I'm so sorry to hear about your bad luck, but now it's time for some GOOD luck. I just happen to be IN Manila and I have about 20 thousand in cash with me, so just let me know where to meet you and I'll bring you whatever money you need. I'm staying at the Hyatt Regency, but I'll monitor this email for your reply."
That might start something. What the heck.. I don't have anything better to do.
