    Greetings from Melbourne.

    Hi from Downunder-
I've been into tanks for around 5 years now, and my wife and I have 13- for now!
We have 6 VS Pro's, and 7 HL's. We love them all, and have loungeroom battles with the VS's.
None of the HL's are stock- the Tauch Panzer has metal tracks but still runs nylon gearboxes- but I've attacked all of them with the airbrush at one stage.
We're both members of www.vicarmour.com, and we attend most meetings and events, and have a lot of fun.

When I paint tanks, I don't put too much stress on historical accuracy- I'm not a rivet counter, and they're only plastic tanks. I like ours to look a bit different!
Anyhow, even though they're by no means up to the standard I've seen on here, here are some of ours- hope you like them!

    Regards,
    Laurie and Teresa.

Nice to see a couple both engaged in the hobby. Cool paint job on the Panther.

    Welcome to the fold.

Intersting stuff, how did you get the 'halo' effect on the large splotches on the Panther and Tiger? Are the splotches the original color just masked first?
    What, me worry?

Really like the M-41 war paint face!!! Your camo on the Panther and Tiger give them a winter look. Thanks for sharing the photos!!!

Hi,I used a technique I read about in a magazine- Milatry Scale Modeller.
I simply masked the original grey with blu-tac.
Random pieces, of any size. Then a rough blow over of white, remove the blu-tac and spray some black.
You can make some amazing effects.

Thanks, MAUS45- I actually painted the M41 for a special occasion.
Our club, VICARMOUR, were invited to display and run tanks at a Vietnam Veterans day, so I painted the Bulldog in their honour.

I second that. Makes the acquisition of more armor a little easier, methinks.

Awesome collection. Welcome to the boards.
