Hey ........ Thanks for the posting on the Mato sale. I have been trying to make up my mind about getting a Leopard 2A6 for a long time because I think it is a terrific looking tank and I love the turret on that beast. My first R/C tank was a Tamiya Leopard which I got from a friend for $300 about 20 years ago. He wanted it back and we did a reverse trade after about a year. Now I have a replacement for that critter on the way and I want to thank you a bunch for the alert for the sale. Tomorrow ain't Labor day, it's Christmas at my house. I just hope the tank gets delivered before Christmas .......

Yes Sir,

I'll throw in a Tank You as we'll...

I ordered a set of Tiger 1 Late Tracks in Metal, and a few other odds and ends...
The Tracks were 30% Off And Free Shipping.
Shipping on the Lot came in under $6.00 US.

Have they ever had the M4A1(76)W with the metal suspension in stock?? Every time I've gone to look
they're out of stock.

I don't believe they have ever sold the M4A1 with anything but plastic suspension.. You always have to buy the metal as an add on..

Thanks. I sent an email via their website earlier today. I was hoping to pick up a few metal items for a Sherman project at the sale price.

I thought I was screwing up last night ..... I tried 6 or 7 times to place an order before I finally got a confirmation. I had all of the troubles posted here.

That's odd, I placed two orders, one yesterday and one today, with no problems.

Did you have to login to place your order? Every time I login, I get the System Error message - ONLY when the User name and password are correct. If I mistype either, I get the usual try again message.

I tried to place a parts order yesterday and again today and their site is still messed up. Can sign in, check account,
but can not "confirm order". The order does not go through.

Airbrushler .......

WOWIE !!! I got my HL Leopard today. I can't thank you enough for the alert about the Labor/Labour day sale. I was very surprised and impressed with the quality and detail on this critter, and I'm really happy I bought that unit. The photos on the Mato website don't do justice to this beauty. My pictures show more detail than the sales page pics show. I don't know what I'm gonna be able to do to it .... it looks perfect to me as it is, but I'm no expert. I gotta find something wrong with this nifty neato gizmo. There has got to be something I can "improve".

Also, I ordered a new Hobby Engine Abrams and it is scheduled to show up next Friday . I'm gonna keep that one intact and cannibalize my old one for the R/C stuff for another project I just started. I want to use the old one as a test bed for camo paint jobs and such.

That's a seriously sweet lookin' tank ya got there. How does it run? I wish I had that kind of luck with Matomart. I placed an order at labor day, too, but instead of receiving it I just got the email saying one item is out of stock so they held up the whole order.

I did get an order from them today, though. I placed it 3 weeks ago, and of course it's not the part I ordered. I just have NO luck with that place. Maybe it's karma. I am kind of an evil SOB.

Maxu52 .....
I took it out of the box and the battery had 7.5 volts on it. It ran well on the kitchen floor and short shag carpet in the living room. The turret worked for a few full back and forth rotations and then the rotation stopped with a clicking sound. I guess the drive gears need a bit of tightening up. I can turn the turret with my hand with the sound of much clicking. .... that shouldn't happen And for some reason I can't adjust the sound. I haven't tried the BBs yet, but I don't really care if that works or not. One thing that really surprised me is how close the camo paint pattern is compared to the real thing on German Leopards.

Airbrushler ...

Are you talking about that ZTZ-99? I'm looking at it, but it doesn't really look much different than the Abrams and Leopard, or anything else to me, but yes, it sure is big. Maybe if it goes on sale for half price I might see if I have enough shelf space for it. Ya got photos of the ones you painted? I'm looking for camo patterns for future projects .I did a Google search for ---- Modern Military Camouflage Images --- and the new digital camouflage schemes are very complicated. I could never do one without risking going blind or causing any more brain damage. I bought a set of the ZTZ track (plastic) about a year ago just for fun and it turns out to be perfect for the project I just started.
