Both you and Tony will be missed but I am sure you have you hands busy prepping for Danville next weekend. Scott and I spent about 3 hours working on the battlefield on Saturday. After raking, trimming, mowing and rock and debris removal....it is huge at about 100 feet long. Sorry no pix but my phone died. See you all Sunday morning.

It was a beautiful day. We had about 10 tankers from 3 states attend. We battled until about 5 PM. The new modifications to the field worked well. And we all had a great time. Jeff new SU100 did well. Will's revamped M51 and Larry's KT did great. Even with one tanks ready to break. Dinner time now... pix later.

Had a ball today, despite leaving my radio home, slipping treads, losing wheels, and motors. Thanks Bob for your help today. It was nice to see everyone again.
See you all next time,
Kevin

I got in late, at about 2pm, so had only a few battles. Nevertheless it was great to spend the afternoon talking tanks and history. Special thanks to ausf for pulling his SU-100 back out of his car so I could get some photographs in of it. The amount of work in both the SU and the M10 is amazing. They should be awesome tanks when finally completed!

Cole and I had a great time. I'm starting to get a handle on some strategy. Looking forward to the next fight, hopefully the Ersatz will blend in better by then (I mean painted OD, not that we'll have snow).
The only problem was while unpacking the gear, the DX6i was inadvertently turned on, so at 3AM I was up thinking the CO monitors were going off, only to find a low battery beeping Tx.
That and the Jints sucking me into to thinking they'd win on the drive home only to unravel as soon as I turned on the TV (really, 2 fumbles and punt return in a span of what , 4 minutes?). Your Jets did well Kevin, except for their third and final time out. They shoulda won.

I have the Tiger in the shop, most of the repairs are complete, I just have to figure out the proper receiver alignment.
