Default iHobby Show 2014

Hi Everybody

We had the pleasure of meeting many people this past weekend at the iHobby show!
It was our first time showcasing our products in America and received a lot of positive comments.

We spoke to many people at the show and we are wondering- Did anyone in this forum come and see us?

Hi Dan

We are currently focusing on filling out orders for the Tiger and Sherman Tank production. This is taking time as we have a heavy focus on quality.
The Tank Destroyer you speak of is next on the list! We are assembling the perfect team to work on this project. We hope to have this ready before Christmas.
It would be the perfect Christmas gift

Hi gus,

I believe the 100% metal Tank Destroyers could be ready soon, and M36B1 will be the next one to produce. Please kindly check the pictures below.

Hi Chung-Leong,

we only produce 100% metal tanks at present. We hope Heng Long would produce the plastic version of these Tank Destroyers in the near future.
For newbies, Heng Long is the best option for the price. But if you want to own a high end 1/16 RC tank, the MATO 100% complete metal tanks are the best choice.

Hi philipat,

We just plan to produce the IR version for these open turret tanks at the moment. An airsoft shooter will make the tank looks unrealistic. Our IR tanks are compatible with Tamiya. I think tankers would love to see this.

Yes, if your tanks become Tamiya IR compatible then your sales should go up!!! That has been one of the hope for many tankers for a long time now!!!

I also welcome you here and look forward to your new releases! When you say your new IR tanks are compatible with Tamiya do you mean the battle system?

RTR with HL

Should be able to get them wherever Mato tanks are sold.

Hi Merganser,

We spoke to many Hobby Store owners at the IHobby show. Many of them have interests to carry our products.
We will update our distributor information later. We hope more people can have a chance to witness a 100% Metal Mato RC Tank from the local hobby store.

Hi Dan,

Our 100% metal tanks will be released the following versions:

No electronics and unpainted
No electronics and painted
RTR unpainted with Clark System
RTR painted with Clark System

We also can supply the HL system if the clients need.

About the metal tracks for the Sherman tanks,we will supply T49 with or without duckbills , T74 with or without duckbills. At the same time, we are considering whether supply the T48 plastic tracks or not,the T48 tracks on the actual tank were rubber-not metal. There weren't metal tracks produced on the T48, as they were rubber. We are diligent in creating tanks and tank accessories that are as accurate to the original tank as possible.

Hi Rona,

Thanks for these updates.

Its great to have MATO officially represented on this forum and we are happy to be getting these new tanks

Are you able to tell us if Mato is planning on releasing any modern tanks?

HL has the Type99/99A, Leopard 2A6 and Abrams.

May I suggest that MATO consider releasing:
  1. Israeli Merkava MKIV
  2. French Leclerc
  3. Russian T90
  4. Russian T72

Many thanks
