KV-1 Build

KV-1 Build
This is my second KV-1 build and I don't remember who bought my first build off eBay, which I regret selling, a couple of years ago. This second build is a collaboration between Daryl Turner for a rc tank collector and AAF Tank Museum fighting enthusiast.
The KV-1 is purposed for Tamiya Battle Unit museum tank fights and includes the benefit of incorporating a quick lift top deck for accessing maintenance areas and simple battery swaps.
Some of the Features:
Spring loaded return idlers, improved metal hull bracing, metal mounts and road wheel bearings by Daryl Turner. The Futaba 2.4 radio gun firing switch is by "the commander" Bob. Aftermarket parts from ETO. This KV runs smooth on the kit tracks. The LED Emitter is in the mantlet.
Enjoy, John

Hello Chiefsonn,
Yes, that is the KV spring return idler system, one off custom part(s) designed, engineered and fabricated by Daryl Turner. Contact Daryl directly for the cost. Having the work fabricated and installed means sending Daryl your hull and the Tamiya kit idler parts.
The first photo shows the rest of the KV idler system. PM me for Daryl's contact info if you do not have it.
Daryl Turner out did himself designing and engineering out the few battlefield game issues on this other wise impressive kit. FYI, his turret modifications are awesome, but classified. Thank you all for the acknowledgement on this build.
