Hey there, Poppa-of-Fyn, what kind of electronics did you use?

I told my nephew Evan about Fyn and he says if you won't build a tank for Fyn then he and I should build him one. He thinks it's unfair that he has his own Bulldog and Fyn doesn't have a tank of his own. Kids, eh?

That is coming along nice Frank. Once my Cromwell is done, I am going to do a Fury as well. I did a search and found I have all the parts and pieces I need to get this done.

Wow, that's looking great. I've wanted an Easy 8 since I first got into this hobby (not that long ago) and now I want one even more. That and a Jagdtiger are my two most wanted tanks right now.

I showed Evan the tank Fyn gets to drive and now he says Fyn should build a tank for him! I told him it would almost cost more to ship it here than it does to build it, so now he wants Uncle Gary to build a Sherman, and I think eventually we can accommodate him on that one.

I love the look of the easy 8, I've also got this Tamiya/mato hybrid which has been my "old faithful" battler for the last few years....

I want a TD... like an M10 or the M36.

Even a late M3 or the M7 Priest!

Erik, the Firefly VC used a MK5 hull. It is longer than the M4A3. Not to mention that it retained the Sherman 2-3 hatch design.

Looks good! All it needs is a dead German afire in front of the driver's compartment.

Where did you get the oval loaders hatch t23 turret? Did you have to bash that on there?
How does one buy parts from Mato or HL tanks?
