Danville Tank Musem Battle Question
So I got my heng long all set up with the battle system and a tamiya apple. I have flash led mounted within the turret and the emitter mounted within the front of the turret. Anything I'm missing for this to be able to battle?

If possible make sure the tank is taking hits and dying according to weight class. Light (3hits), medium (5), Heavy (9). Also make sure your giving hits. Nice to make sure all your systems are working
before getting to the museum and not having to wrench on something instead of battling. The only other thing to look at would be how your emitter is mounted. It needs to be in a tube 9mm deep to front of
bulb and an ID of 6mm or less.

If your using tamiya electronics they have a self test setting you switch on the dip switches that select class. You then fire at a white wall or piece of paper and the IR will bounce off and your tank will take a hit.
This is in the manual. If your using other electronics that's a different story. You may just have to wait till you get to Danville and have someone exchange shots with you or try and find a universal tv remote with the
same coding as the system your using to "shoot" your tank.

The emitter will show up on a cellphone or iPod on video. Some TV remotes will register hits on Tamiya systems but that isn't consistent unless you know going in yours does. You could try aiming at a mirror, but there might be a lockout on accepting hits while sending code.
You may just want to get to Danville early enough to do some work if necessary, it's tough to calibrate stuff with only one tank.
What battle system are you using?
