Default 21st C. 1:9 Abrams

So it’s not 1:16 nor 1:6, which limits its popularity… but I’m still surprised I don’t see more posts about the big 1:9 21[SUP]st[/SUP] Century M1A2. It’s big and it’s an Abrams, which makes it interesting to me, and I’m looking to get one.

Questions:

Are there many/any folks upgrading this model? I haven’t found much in the posts here (but need to keep looking).

Do the experienced users have any advice on what needs fixing? Such as, I realigned the bad gear shaft on my 1:6 Stuart’s gearboxes to prevent the gear stripping that these boxes experience, and added brass bushings and grease to the road wheels to prevent wear.

PatMat,

There were a couple guys offering a 1:9 ABRAMS in the Classifieds a couple months back...
BigMig I think had a couple for sale... And another guy had One listed...
They may still have em, don't recall seeing a Sold sign on the threads...
May be worth a bit of Back Reading to see if you can find em... Not more than Four months back...

I would Love to have one...
But have WAY Too much on my plate at the moment...
I'll probably Kick myself later for letting them get by me.

Seems like I saw he still had the ABRAMS a few weeks back.
May be worth a PM to see...

BIGMIG did a couple Build Threads upgrading and implementing Work Arounds on the ABRAMS a few Years Back...
I went looking in October or November and found them with the Search Function...
It took some Determined Digging, but they are still there.

Good Luck.
