Does this chart lead you in a respectable direction... (sadly the No.52 isn't on it, but maybe that transposition isn't complete...)

Note also his source, which might be another place to look: Sources - 2pdr/6pdr/17pdr/25pdr Handbooks, AVIA 22 456 - 514, Various tank handbooks.
And this video... from a Churchill, apparently... it look similar? Take it to the war museums to see if one of 'em could identify it, perhaps?
Any details about the article's provenance (aka where it came from, and when?)
