Hey Jerry, if you get a chance I'd really appreciate seeing a photo of this beauty next to a Tiger in the same 1/10 scale. Thank you.

It is on its way to me. I found it "over there" at an extremely favorable price so I bagged it.
It is made by Nils Hermann.

I'll post more photos when I have it in hand.

You know, this lights the bulb over my head: Pz I F.

Since tracks and sprockets really are the only thing that stands in my way of a scratch build (I would kill for a set of metal 1/16 Pz I tracks), this would be ideal since Tiger parts could be used, assuming the links cound be cut down to transport track width.

I even have the Panzertracts on it too.

Jerry, you have a beautiful little baby there! I'm sure it will grow up to be great someday. Are you sure it's yours? It doesn't look a bit like you............

Jeff, Kenny Kong was making a set of 1/16 metal Tiger I travel tracks, but I am not sure if they are still produced? Here is his site and I attached some photos of them from his site. They are still listed at $120, just not sure if he still makes them?

Dumb question. Do you still have Nils panzer I & panzer II? Some pics of those would be neat as well.

Rex, not a dumb question at all... I do still have them.

plus Nils' hetzer tracks on my Hetzer, his PzKw II based Bison lower hull( longer hull with six road wheels) that carried a
15cm sIG 33 howitzer- but I don't have the upper hull...yet- although I asked him to make me one.

I promise when New Baby arrives I'll take a new family photo.

Like that Panzer II F?, Panzer I and the Hetzer as well. Very nice addition as well. Is one of the rubber tires off the rim in the 2nd photo?

Hey tanks, MAUS45. Yep the tire is broken, split; it was inside the model. No worries though I'll make a mold to vulcanize my own rubber tires anyway.
It's a topic for an entirely new thread but I vulcanize/ make any tire I want with tire retread rubber. It's tough, cheap er than casting types) and it's really easy to work with. I need to get a new supply of rubber though.

It will probably end when one of three things happen:
  1. when I meet and marry a lady who says "enough already" and I'm crazy in love enough to listen...
  2. when I run out of space.....
  3. well maybe when I kick the bucket...

While it will likely be Nr 2 I'm hoping against all odds it will be Nr 1....

I decided to weigh the II J and was surprised to find it weighs a hefty 29.5 pounds. Small but chunky. Like me.

I can see it coming. The Rex Ross dating service for forlorn tankers. Tanque,, I would be very suspicious if Rex asks for a picture, or people start telling you that your on line picture looks a lot like Brad Pitt. jot

Yeah sure, Rex yeah that's it. I can't blame having to take pain
meds anymore so the mental slowness it's all mine...
