I confess, purchasing a well built and detailed tank is something I rarely do, but boy is it nice. Originally, I was gonna covert a HL KV-1E to Full option Tamiya but somebody had to go selling their tanks....

Here is the newest DAK recruit already running in the yard, very convenient that I had a russkie Apple waiting in the wings.

Up and running, US Army Sherman M36B1 WWII Tank Destroyer: In October 1944, there was a lack of M10A1 hulls to carry the M36 tank destroyer's turret with its powerful kraut tank-busting 90mm gun. The plentiful Sherman M4A3 late hull was substituted with only minor alterations needed, mainly to accommodate the TD's larger ammo rounds. The resulting M36B1 had the advantage of thicker hull armor and a bow machine gun. 187 conversions were completed late in WWII.

This is a buy back from Tomas, I built it several years ago using Nick's excellent resin turret set and it arrived back to me in perfect shape. The model TD now uses Tamiya Pershing DMD, MF Controllers and other Tamiya parts. A Daryl Turner Emitter Tube is mounted in the mantlet. A stealthy low mounted TBU for backyard play is mounted within the turret, but still easy to score hits on, unfortunately.

Enjoy, John

THANKS to all you who have purchased and kept the ARMOR ROLLING !!!!

I will be posting the STURMTIGER and desert Camo Tiger 1 in a few days or asap....
SturmTiger is a 1/16 Tamiya Tiger 1 rolling chassis with the WeCoHe SturmTiger upper ... looks mean... it is heavy and does well in battles...
Desert Camo Tiger 1 is also a 1/16 Tamiya Tiger 1 ...
Both are complete with all the DMD/MF Units and TAMIYA Battle Systems (Apples)..

Thanks,

TOMAS
