Default Sherman D Day decals

In preparation for D day, most vehicles were repainted with the star surrounded by a circle. Lots if them had the broken circle as units didnt go back and fill in the stencil spaces.

Any way, I have been looking for either of this type for my M4A1 but doesnt seem like anybody makes them. I have a guy that makes custom decals for my model trains, and has made my nose art girl for my Katy Cat E8 when its done, i was thinking of getting some 1/35 decals and blow them up and have a few sheets printed. Anybody else want in on this project for some custom decals? A whole sheet can usually do about 2-3 tanks.

I could use a decal set for a D-Day Sherman, tho it would have to be specific and I don't have time in the next month or so to do a whole lot of research. What sort of timeframe are you looking at?

C Company 741st Tank Btn is about as much info as I have right now.

Im thinking the sheet at the top because of the amount of options available. Just buy one, blow it up and print it.
unless somebody is good with photoshop and can make us artwork for all of this stuff on one sheet and we can get my decal guy to print them. He does full color too.

Have you thought about stencils and paint?

I stencil and paint real, full size military vehicles, not too interested in doing models that way...

Some colours tend to stencil batter than others - I've never had any luck stencilling white stars, but green ones seem to be no problem for me...

Real size white stars are a huge pain in the ass, especially on the hood. Fogging under the stencil is hard to stop.

Rich,

I have CAD software and access to PS. Get me some dimensions you'd like to use and the size of the sheet.
