Truck please. I see that Traxxas is now making a 1/16 size 4WD Slash. I wonder if it could be used as a base for making something useful? I am sure that it would have to be slowed down a LOT to look right. Might work as a light truck although it is way too big to be a jeep. Did the army use Dodge Power Wagons in WWII? jot

I'm pushing for more Russian tanks guys, dont worry there! The Russian tanks are my favorite (besides my all time favorite of the Hetzer) and I'll always be pestering bossman until I get some more! After the Jagdtiger releases he might let me give you some hints on the next one if we are lucky...
The best way to make a request known is to keep the thread going Bossman drops in every once and a while and reads things and if he sees a thread like this you can bet he will drop in!

We need soft skinned vehicles!! Jeeps, trucks, staff cars, ambulances, all RC and all in 1/16th scale! An RC 1/16 Jeep would sell like hotcakes! I'd buy at least three or four right off the top! And trucks? How about a deuce and a half? And then there's German halftracks. We have lots and lots of different tanks, how about some support vehicles for them?

Agreed. I would like to see more modern tanks. You can put punchy motors in them and get them to speed along doing jumps etc. For the people out there who like to battle then I understand the WWII focus but for those of us who just want to take one out for a spin, a modern faster tank is much more fun.
The T-55 may not bee too modern but it is my favourite looking tank and can be modelled in so many variations and nationalities.

I'm so glad the Russian tanks are getting a lot of requests Lately it has been the T72, T54/55 variants, and of course my favorite the Hetzer. I'll make sure bossman knows

I went to Hobby Hut in Grand Junction, Colorado ( 2 hour drive each way ) yesterday and got to see a Tiagen Sherman for the first time. It was the all metal one. WOW! Good thing I did not take the credit card to the store. If you guys make an all metal Abrams, or T-72, I will be needing one. Gotta start saving money. Nice to know I can buy one so close to home.

I got one of them. it is close to all metal. The upper hull is actually plastic. But that is the only part. The turret, main gun, tracks, lower hull are all metal. It is a nice tank. My advice on that is to keep your eye on Imex scratch and dent sale. Thats where I picked up mine from and for just a small crack in the upper hull I saved about 40%. I defiantly recommend the scratch and dent sales. plus it was quick shipping. Your lucky that you have a hobby (kinda) in driving distance that you can at least check one or two out at.
