Default 3D Printed Snow Blower

I'm trying to get my project kickstarted. It is a 1/10th scale 3d printed snow blower. It is powered by a standard 540 sized motor and uses standard RC servos to raise and lower the whole snow blower. Also a servo is used to turn the shoot that directs the snow. It can plow through 14 x 5 inches of powdered snow in one pass!

Awesome! Make sure to post this in the crawler and scale truck forums as well. Whats the overall weight? Would grab one up to throw on my King Hauler when available and price is right.

Yes if you are selling these let us know. A coat of olive drab and that snow blower would look at home on a Sherman

I would love to have one of those... I still plow snow the old fashioned way.

I sold about 4 kits already for this one on my website, temporarily disabled the stock until I see how this kickstarter project turns out.

I have a long running thread on the snow cat forums here http://s1.zetaboards.com/RCsnowcats/...749076/20/#new

I'm not sure if it would fit a Sherman because its about 14" wide right now lol

It's around 3-4lbs when its all assembled.

Little pricey in my opinion, but I only see plowable snow 3-4 times a year.

I really like the project! Right now, I dont have that kind of money to invest in a snow blower, but I think you should make brackets to adapt them to RC4WD and Axial products, those are really popular on the scale market and You should also start a subject on rccrawler forum, I think it's the biggest community of scale/crawler people... I would really see that mounted on a Tamiya CC-01 Unimog, it would look awesome!

You should post pictures of the snow blower in this thread... it is about blizzards.

Ya know, this thing is pretty trick...but seeing that snow makes me more than just a bit glad I live in the Bay Area part of The People's Republic, as dry and arid as it has been...

It's not that I dislike snow, I've played it it more than a few times but at the end I've been able to come home!
