Awesome. I was just there and had an awesome time (this past weekend). I have a ton of pics but I will not post them, so as to ruin any surprise for you haha.

My family is all in NC, only about a 30 minute drive from the museum, so i've been to the tank museum a few times on my visits home. It's a great collection. Have fun!

You won't be disappointed. Make sure not to miss all the uniform and small arms collections as well.

If I would of been here last weekend I would of helped for sure. I am going to check it out Friday then leave for SC. I just got back from going to see where it is located. Looks like a big place. I thought I would never get a chance to visit the museum but by chance when the family said NC and SC, I said Danville Via or find someone else to drive. lol

I live about a hr and a half from Danville. Never been to the museum....tried to find a inventory list. Interested in WWII German armor. They have much or any of that? Been thinking about a trip to GA to the armor museum as they have a Jagdtiger and several other German pieces.

I may have seen you. I said hi to guys that were working on the battlefield (it looks so awesome btw). But there were a few guys over in the corner by the one bridge, when I walked over. I had a green Hellcat shirt on haha.

That was us, I was working by the bridge.
I think I remember seeing you.

Namerifrats- the only piece of German armor is a PzIV.
But they have lots of other bits, like a Pak40 Anti Tank Gun, MG 34's 42's, and pretty much every small arms.
Tons of uniforms, including one of Rommels desert coats.

You should come in July, to the next battleday. July 17 18 19

They've got a Panzer IV, maybe a Kettenkrad if my memory is correct.. I think the Panzer they have used to be an Syrian one based on some of the details on it (rubber fenders for example). They also have some allied WWII tanks though. It's definitely worth going if you're a tank fan. They have a Renault FT WWI tank, which may be the only one in the US.. pretty cool.

Here are some pics I took from the times I went.
