Default HL 1/16 Challenger 2 available for sale in China

Just noticed that HL's 1:16 Chally 2 is available in China.
Price is 940 CNY, which is about 150 USD.
It appears that HL is offering two board options. Not sure what's the difference though.

I do believe there is a Challenger in my future, if they ever get here.

Really wish HL would set fire to those awful 2.4ghz boards. They do more damage than anything, it's nigh-impossible to control a fast or large tank.. bah!

Well I was going to put my IBU2 in it, but it is already sitting comfortable in my Leo2 so for now it will just be stock. My Clark board is in my Tiger 1 (should be in the KT, but I couldn't resist) so as of now I'm out of extra boards to play with. I need more

How do you like the new Chally 2, Erik?
It seems that there are many accessories on both top and lower hulls. Is that the case?

It is pretty decent, I will definitely upgrade to a better suspension, but the rest isnt too bad. I have all the accessories uninstalled for everyone to see at the show. It still has only been driven on my table and still hasn't touched dirt It is almost 2yrs old now actually!

Yo ! If you arent bringing enough for everyone don't bring any at all. Not fair that you alone have one and no one else can even hope to get one in the near future. just MHO.

Erik. Maybe you can confirm. The Chally 2 tracks are very similar if not the same as the Leo 2?

This is correct. I will try to fit a set of our Leo tracks on it at Danville. It has been so long since I looked at it I didn't even realize the pattern is almost exact if not the same.

Sounds like a promising product. I think I need to reallocate my budget to get the Chally

Cool! I just received my M1A2 today after purging some of my other tank stuff I wasn't using. Should be a nice partner to the Leo2 and now that I see this is coming up I may have to order one next year.

Wasn't I reading here that the Chally is only a limited run?

A limited run seems like it would be a huge waste of money and time since it took them 2 years to bring it out.
