Oh yes, this I have been waiting on. That looks great, do we have any sort of release date? I think we are near or passed the only ballpark we had before right?

I spoke with a local heng long dealer based here in the US and he was expecting the Challenge 2 by the end of the month. He said he was also expecting a NATO camouflage version of the M1A2 Abrams to come in at that time which surprised me a little bit because there has been no mention of it. He didn't mention the T-90.

Looks good. Thanks for sharing. Wonder if they'll release a T-72 along with it. They share lower hulls. Would allow for a lot of modeling options since the T-72 has been exported a lot more.

Challenger II is available at Hobby Raw. http://www.hobbyraw.com/item.jsp?id=1114&cid=20

Hal, any good photo sites for with detailed pictures that would be useful for improving HL's detail?

Now this is exciting!

I do hope the production run is long enough to entice AisaTam, Taigen etc to plunge in and offer metal chassis and other assorted upgrades.

Very nice! Russian T-90 is my next tank build.
By the way any metal upgrades for this tank - tracks, wheels ... would be available?

nice, must have, cannot wait.
IMO, T72/T90 series is even more beautiful than M1A2 or leopard creed.- much more practical, agile, and fearful.
change the flag to soviet redstar would make it more real.

So I can have a desert version and a NATO version. More tanks is better, right?

I spent the weekend building a TBS Russian powerplant sound file with Turbo spooling for this tank. I will be getting this when they become available. I want this to sound as good as it looks.

TBS is the short name for the Benedini sound and light system,

I will load up this file in a T-34 hull I am working on and get a video for you Russian tank fans, The TBS can be added to the Clark to improve the engine dynamic sounds to a better level.

I threw the electronics in a Taigen T-34 chassis I had on the bench,.

Here it is with Turbo spooling.
