What the hell?
you strike me as somewhat of a cremudgeon, based on your prior posts.
hobbies cost money and take time and effort. If any of those things is more taxing and your not having fun, change up and do something else.
dont post on here insulting the rest of the people that enjoy the hobby.

Lighten up please. It is a hobby, and it can get expensive. Most of my tanks are HL, that I purchased through Matomart. I am happy with them. They are all plastic. I have an all metal M4A3 Sherman, I like it. These tanks are not perfect, but they do resemble the real tank. I hope you discover another hobby. So take care and Merry Christmas.

My mother taught me "if you haven't got anything nice to say....) so I generally avoid this but I have to say good riddance. Pretty much all you have done since you came here was whine and complain and nitpick....
Thank you, move on, and have a Merry Christmas...
Oh, and if you are leaving, why are you still logged on?

Exactly the same reasoning I use for not playing golf. Hobbies are supposed to be fun. Golf is all about my mistakes...

Some folks just can't take the pressure of RC tanking. It can wear on you, but you just have to be tougher than the plastic tank, you just have to be that hobby ninja we all strive to be.

Overpriced???? My mate bought a £50 HL Pantiger 10 years ago and he's still having fun with it. I've probably spent a few £1000 in that time but that was my choice.

Yup, a definite shame. Wondering what he is comparing these absolute engineering abortions too? Guessing this is the person I see at a hobby store paying to have a servo horn replaced on their RTR Traxxas.

kidding aside, why the sudden fallout Darkearth? Looks like you had some nice builds going. We all get frustrated and occasionally I take time off of
tanks and play with other more instant gratification r/c such as crawlers, basher trucks, etc to recharge my head batts.

We say here in the States, don't let the door hit your ass on the way out. Thank God he never attempted a true scratch build like many of Rex Ross's or Tanque's beautiful builds or try to convert a Juckenberg E-100! Talk bout going postal. I had to take a break from that one or risk going on some terrorism watch lists..
