1/16 Scepter Modern NATO Military Water and Fuel Cans
Being that there is no shortage of water and fuel cans for WW2 vehicles I went on the hunt for modern water and fuel cans for my new Abrams. On Shapeways I found the water cans from Scepter that were excellently detailed and reminded me of my days using them in the Army. The designer was Holden8702. Being that I didn't see the fuel version posted on his Shapeways page I inquired as to whether or not he planned on doing the fuel cans also. He replied the same day and said he had planned on it, but hadn't yet because the water cans just weren't big sellers as of yet. After a few message exchanges, he posted that he had put up the fuel cans for sale. Turn around time was a total of 2 days. So me being me, I like to reward good customer service so I bought a set of 5 of both the fuel and water cans for my build. I'll post some pics once I get them and do a quick review. These are the cans:

Hi Derek
Woz also has a set of modern jerrycans - http://www.shapeways.com/product/K6D...ionId=40417950 -
They are hollow underneath The last pic shows them in comparison to the HL M41 Jerrycan (Upainted 30 Cal M1919A4, also from Woz.)

I did see those, but those look more like the commercial Scepter cans:

Never saw any of those while I was in the Army or while volunteering at the Fort Snelling Military Museum. They are thinner and don't have an NSN number. I guess my revit counter side is showing...
