Taigen's 76mm Sherman! Pictures inside!
#29
Even after the 105mm the Sherman chassis is not done. The Easy 8 is being tossed around here though, we shall see. I would like to see a Super Sherman myself. More tracks are also an option too, we shall see if you guys like the new 76mm tracks first (I'm sure you will). Also the new drive wheel for the 76mm was made like the 75mm version where you can pop out the hubcap from the inside of the sprocket. Sound is still a 50/50 at the moment. We are close to finishing our electronics but may not be in time to put in the Sherman, it depends on testing there. Also yes, there will be both an airsoft and infrared version for this tank.

I am hoping that the tracks with duckbill extensions will be available separately and fit onto M4A3 late 75mm. I am sure it shares the same sprocket and running gear as this new Sherman. Many pictures of late 47 degree hull Sherman's have these duckbills. The new Sherman looks great but I may have to get Waltersons T-72 depending on how it looks finished and price.

The Sherman is quite popular, I see a long future ahead for it. In fact, my buddy Aaron over at RC Adventures on YouTube stopped by the booth at RCX and we had a little interview on the tanks. You should hopefully see a nice video soon He loved the Sherman too.

This is "The" Sherman I have been waiting for. I'm in for one as soon as they are available. The turret looks great. I like the combination of metal and plastic. i think a full metal turret might be too heavy but this looks like it will balance well.

The Panther items will be ready to sell as soon as the Panthers arrive as well. The Sherman parts will be the same as well including the EEC links. The EECs are separate from the track and will be replaceable and also you can upgrade your 75mm tracks as well if you wish The road wheels also now have bearings too, so that is a nice upgrade.

Yea there were a few projects (like the Leo lower) and others that held us back a bit but it is still set to be here in around 90 days. The Panthers are already crossing the pond now and should be here soon. If all goes as planned the Leo lower will launch at the same time as the Sherman so that's a bonus.

Both the Panther F and G will have Upper Hull & Turret combos available separately yes. Also just to update everyone, they are all new molds for the uppers and will have working hatches (different versions for F & G hulls). The metal conical and steel wheels will be available as well separately.
