DAK DEMO AT CAF MILITARY VEHICLE SHOW March 26, 2016
Well the troops will be meeting in style next time around. The gang is gonna coincide our next battle with a military vehicle show at Mesa Falcon Field's Commemorative Air Force Museum. Amongst the vintage planes will be a large crowd of vintage military vehicles (for reference of course) and our DAK display with portable battlefield. Arizona is awesome in March and don't forget Spring Training will be wrapping up for that whole travel package. Falcon Field is the Home of the CAF's B-17 "Sentimental Journey" B-25 "Made in the Shade" and other little gems that usually make a cameo. Let me know if you have questions... this is always a good time!

The Western Slope Division is currently crafting a plan to invade Arizona that weekend. Falcon Field is our primary objective.
I have been inside the B-17 Sentimental Journey, it's really cool, I want to tour it again.

Enjoy the Warbirds. I miss "Thunder Over Michigan" - the sheer numbers and variety they could bring in was mind blowing even for someone used to Duxford/TFC's annual Flying Legends show.

The Western Slope Division has established a staging area in Arizona, the invasion is a GO!

Thank you. It will be two adults and two children. I will let you decide who are the children and who are the adults.

FRAG Western Slope Division will be able to deploy a Potemkin Village at Falcon Field. I did not do a production run of the prototypes you saw, I developed idea different direction to save money, I think you will like it.
Will So Cal be there with buildings too?

If we come, I could bring some or all, howver they are quite lame compared to what both of your clubs have. We might have a huge city with that many buildings.
Is the field going to be dirt? I really dont like driving on pavement, my tracks are really torn up on my tamy ez8 from the asphalt at AMVCC show.
I am pondering the cost of the trip since last month to the tempe AMVCC show as 250 not including food. I kinds need to travel with somebody and my MV buddy is out for this one.

Field is TBA, Mil Vehicle club is seeing what space they may have. Since any dirt in the area is Active Airport Ramp..... our choices are limited. When I know.... you know. We don't need that many buildings. DAK has what is needed. Just want to see more of the FRAG Card Board stuff. I was impressed last year.

Lets get a last minute check in for saturday. As stated we are meeting at the CAF Museum at Falcon Field for our meeting and battle demo. The event setup is between 7am and 830 am, the vehicle show opens its doors at 9am. My suggestion is get there for the set up time as you can pull up to the hanger and unload. If you come later you will have to come through the museum and pay the gate.
I am trying to bring the club tables so I thing chairs are the only "need" as no tables or chairs for vendor activities are being provided. Only the space is being provided.
The organizers are asking all vendors to be present for both days but if you must leave on Saturday, please remain in place until the event closes at 4PM on Saturday. DAK will not be there for Sunday officially as I am watching a 4 year old collect easter eggs.
