I imagine you could with enough weight (metal lower or more for best effect I would guess) and power on a nice chunk of ice

Heng long Pz III with a set of speed 400's and plastic tracks on the polished concrete floors of the danville museum gets you some tank drifting. No vids though.

I've done it with my Tamiya Leopard 2A6 on ice. The rubber track pads skid well on ice. I have a movie of it in a file somewhere. I will dig for it and see about posting it.

I like the Abrams tanks drifting, that looks fun. More guys would volunteer for the Army if they showed movies like that at recruiting centers.

I am almost positive I can get a slide or two on the hardwoods. I see if I have a clean enough tank to try.
