Default Hooben M1A2

So I went to their website and noticed they have the M1A2 kits "in stock". I almost pulled the trigger on one but after the T55 track fiasco, I am a bit leery. Anybody order one of these yet and actually get one and if so, how is the quality? With shipping I am looking at around $430 which is pretty good for a decent kit but I am not interested in giving them an interest free loan....

Ikr,i almost did the same,I contacted dklm-rc and asked him to let me know when they have one in stock,he told me it would have a torsion bar suppension and a high level of quality...,they seem to be reliable i orderd some miniture bolts from them without drama,so we'll have to wait and see.

dklm-rc, yes. Hooben...not so much. They have a documented history of lack luster customer service and quality control. Hopefully the re-release of the T-55 and these other offerings will give us a new perspective on them.

one of my rag camerads bought the hooben 1/16 Abrams 1A2 Sep Full Function , its of good quality
with HD camera on periscope , very fine detail and digital sound it set new standard in rc tanks FO , i runs very smooth, rotating turretgun, gunstabilisator ... everythhing you can dream off

tamiya is beaten here , brand new electronics and dozens of soundsamples usable but yeah tamiya leo 2a6 is an engeniering project from 2004 while this hooben is 2016 about the same pricerange

Did your friend but it as a RTR or did he assemble it before the Dortmund show? Looks pretty good.

Thanks for the heads up, glad my mind overrode my heart and forced me to put the checkbook away! Again, why do they show units in stock with nothing to sell???

Contact hooben on facebook he can help you
Or contact carson dklm rc he sells them too also on facebook or via google his shop
I think my friend philipp got the first full option abrams of hooben worldwide, its an amezing rc tank ... not for cheap tank lovers is in the pricerange of the new tamiya Fo tanks
It will be aviable in kit too as rc ready like their elefant and t55 kits so without all that expensive electronics and hd camera

Without all that it come approx on 900 euro for the FO KIT with sublime digital sound , rotating turretgun, rotating hd camera with sd card etc ... i saw it its worth every penny
