Ibu 3 and Mato m36 running impressions
Hey folks, finally got the ibu configured
https://youtu.be/tJeYeSfYfo8
The battery was a bit in the flat side but I'll probably use a 3s to get closer to scale speed (the gearboxes are very low ratio).
Impressions are really good, the configuration works perfectly once you can get it connected (my mrs laptop is 64bit which I didn't realise when installing the virtual comm port software). Takes a little while to upload the individual sound files but Ivano is working on that. Being able to assign switches to the various functions is great and means no more messing about with channel mixing.
Sound is excellent, with my cut down Tamiya speaker really rubies nicely, transitions are seamless and the rev features nice.
Drive is vastly improved from the ibu2 much better crawl speed, turns better on grass too. .
The m36 seems to run nicely, gearboxes are smooth and all functions work fine. Only issue is the tracks are a little slack and I don't thing the idlers are adjustable.
