Default HL PIV missing smoke switch

Hello, The instruction manual says the smoke on/off switch should be right there by the return rollers but it is not, the hole labeled ABC is partially obscured by the double stick tape holding the main board on and there is no switch(see first pic). How do you turn on/off the smoke? The second pic shows a wire (the wire on the left) from the main gun that popped out of the main board when I lifted the top of the tank off. I have no idea where it goes back into the board. It is a two hole cord, but the two available slots are both 4 prongs. Help! I am a newbie here...Sorry. Sorry about the pics they were taken with a cell phone.

The smoke switch should be on the bottom of the tank, somewhere near the on/off switch and should be a tad smaller. The plug you show is the trigger switch and goes in the five pin plug at the end closest to the plug for the volume switch. I'll see if I can find my diagram. What brand tank is that? Look like the Imex/Taigen PzIV.

That little two pin plug goes into the five pin socket at the top where it says track recoil.

It is a heng long. The manual says the smoke switch is on the side, there is a hole for a switch but no switch. Next to the main power switch, there is another hole for a switch but again, no switch. I mean it has a smoke generator, I can see it and it is hooked up to the main board. There is a switch on the controller for smoke, but as far as I can tell no switch on the tank despite what the manual says.

Sorry, almost forgot, if the tank is new enough the smoke on/off will be on the transmitter, not the tank.

Sounds like you have the newer model with the switch on the controller.

The manuals don't get updated as fast as the tanks so they're usually behind and inaccurate.
