So how many Shermans do you have actually? I would love to see them all lined up!

Very nice fynsdad, I've always liked the a1's. Maybe the wheels will start to turn in Erik's head and we'll see one from IMEX some day soon.

Would be cool to combine all your Sherman threads into a gallery to show all of the ones you have done. Would be a good resource for folks wanting to do one.

a1s can be built, with hulls currently produced by nick and that guy making the m32 kit I bought. Im going to get another one of his small hatch hulls before Im done.

No provision for barrel recoil in Nick's turret. I have to have barrel recoil, looks like a toy otherwise IMO.

Easy enough to buy some brass tube and make a sleeve, and screw the recoil unit to the turret base...
Don't confuse 'not simple' with 'not impossible' - if I can manage it, anyone can

I've put 3 of them together now, and used the same mounting trick on an otherwise stock Tamiya M4E8 105 turret.

All my tanks from Nick turrets have barrel recoil. My tamiya ez8 has a tiger recoil unit in the nick T23 and all the others have servos in them.
You have to engineer it yourself. Though, the asiatam recoil unit in the taigen sherman would work quite well in a nick T23 I think. You would just have to figure the tamiya wiring out, or go 3d party electronics.

fynsdad always has nice looking shermans. I didnt like the mato turret so I redid alot on it and still couldnt stand it so I sold that one.

I know that feeling well - if somebody else makes a tank from those parts its looks amazing - if I did it, it looks an ugly mess to my eyes
