Oh hell! I just bought another, still under $100
Now one will become the M10 and I can leave one as is
Or maybe a Fury since I have a brad Pitt head now
Funny never cared for shermans. However it's a great little tank.

I weighted down the henglong Sherman I built into an M4a1 75 using ziplock bags full of bird shot. Added a couple pounds to it. The tank has metal drive sprockets from taigen but still the plastic tracks and upgraded taigen gear boxes. Makes a big difference to drive over the small ground cover on the battlefield like miniature iceplant and small brush etc.

Thanks for the tip . I drove it outside yesterday and it did suprisingly well for no weight in it. But it was very tippy I actually rolled it coming down a hill at an angle on my proving grounds breaking off the machine gun mount. Some low weight will definitely help with this

"Tape On" weights are sold at the hobby store or at places that handle tire equipment. They can be cut to the .25 of an ounce and lay flat.

After helping liberate a Nazi captured sawmill in France the family's that ran the mill helped the crew put on a Little extra armor, on there beloved battle wagon

I am not going for perfection on my carpentry skills as I know these modification in the field are crude and rushed

The crew didn't have any paint at the time so they painted the new boards with mud

You guys are all killing me!!!! I ordered my upgraded Sherman about 5 days ago. I think I got the low Costway price just in time because the next day the prices went up. ChuckATruck, I love what you have done with yours. All you guys, please keep the mods coming and pray for me that I don't lose my mind watching all of you having so much fun.

I Me and my 6 year old boy took the Leo and the Sherman out back and ran them for about an hour. The Sherman did great Im really impressed with driving it. It handles the hills and what little bit of grass I have very well. I have bad luck with these tanks I usually can't get a battery through one without breaking something, but the Sherman did great no breakage except a tow hook and a tail light cover but that was from being ran over by the Leo .

.

The Leo broke a track on the way up the hill at the end. So now the abrams and the Leo have a broke track

Nice work so far! I feel like the Shermans are one of the most versatile tanks to modify, each one is a blank canvas. I like the wood work!
