I was thinking about getting that cable that I showed in the other reply, but couldn't bring myself to pay that much. So I found another one on the bay and it was a lot cheaper, just needed to find a Y harness with two female and one male end. I just ordered it so I should know soon if its what I need. Its a pain taking the battery out of the tiger 1 early version.

So got surfing last night. I think my plan now is going to use small magnets to hold the upper and lower hull together. One on each post. Then i can just lift the top off. I ordered some magnets so when they get here in a week or so I'll see.

So ill keep the on off switch inside the haul. Also at my lunch break i cut out 2 more teeth of the turret ring so now its 360 rotation.

So I saw this on another forum so not my idea but loved it. Took about an hour. Cut the stock switch to fit into the slot, cut the fake track mounting tab to fit the switch into, enlarge the slotted hole so you can slide everything up and down. Mount everything. Result's in next post

got the Y harness in, simple to install, now I wont have to keep undoing the hoses on the back of my tiger one to take the battery out. I can charge it while its still in the tank...

I didnt come up with this idea, just a cheaper way to do it. About $8.00 total.

Just watch those batt's when you charge in the tank fella's, don't want to damage any electronics, glue fixtures, etc or the entire tank with the possible heat build up.

Looks great! I had about 45 min run time on my lipo before the alarm went off. It was really loud. Tank was at full volume and about 100ft away from me.

When i got home i noticed that one track was clogged with mud. So when i try to move it with the remote it stalls and the alarm goes of. Must be trying ti use to much power. But these plastic tracks did pretty good. I went to a outdoor bmx track. Gonna take it apart and clean it then work on something lol.

Where is was. And just took the haves apart. I still have 7.7v left , 3.86 and 3.87 each cell. Alaram is set for 3.6. So it was the clogging of the mud on the tracks that was causing strain on the system and triggering the alarm.

So i guess i need more power to move the tracks. Guess I'll be shopping on payday at month end lol.

I want to get 5:1 gears with 480 motors.

Was looking at getting the 540 setup but i think it would be too fast and not to scale

Just took mine for a spin after installing all the accessories, found out that it has 360 turret. I didn't order it that way, thought it would come with a 340 like my M1A2. Also found out the on/off switch is mounted backwards but that's no big deal. I can take care of that when I end up upgrading it.

Check to see if they put a slip ring on it for the 360 turret. I need to order one now that i cut the extra teeth for 360.

I havent added any accessories. Still trying to figure out my end game lol.

here are some pics, looks like the wire coming from the main gun pivots with that black thing that's mounted on the gun.

Ya thats a slip ring. I just spent an hour puttung on the accessories. Coudlnt wait anymore lol. Mine game with a ling metal looking thing. Looks like an antenna. But theres no place to mount it. Its like 6 inchs long. Also im suprised it didnt come with a mounted mg for the top. The hole is there though. Also a small hole in yhe middle of the turret which a suspect is for a beacon. Didnt do decals yet and probably wont for awhile. I ordered replacement headlights [stock] ones. Ordered from hobby raw to see what there shipping is like.

Took my tracks off to clean them. They were muddy.

I think i am going to upgrade the electronics. I really hate the tank recoil. Im leabing towards the tk24 clark board. I would like a ibu2 but out of my budget.

But all and all this tank is definitely worth money. I like starting with a basic tank and abke to upgrade it over time.

I didn't get any metal looking antenna, I got 2 small rubber looking ones, and I believe 2 small plastic looking ones, Im missing a small hand rail but all the other stuff mounted fine. I put the decals on, There ok for right now. May change them later. Looking to upgrade all the road wheels,, track and drive gear to metal. Have been checking prices but havent really come across any good prices yet. I lucked out on my M1A2 tracks and road wheels.
