Default Painted/ Weatherized My Taigen T34/85

With some help from folks on this site--plus Utube videos--I hand painted my first RC tank. Learned a lot and would do some things different. Added a few items too (based on actual pics of T34's.

Very nice! I especially like how you weathered and show built up rust on the fenders. Good job.

Nice job, looks cool, and I'm not even a tank guy. Post the steps and link your videos here.

I was wondering how durable the paint is on moving surfaces(ie treads/sprockets). Does the paint tend to scrap/flake off?

Don't know but would expect some would scrape off depending on surface you run it on. Maybe one of the experts could give you an answer. I tried not to put an extra paint or "mud" on the treads and sprockets. Thanks to all for nice comments. Makes me feel good!!!

Looks good!

Paint won't last long on the tracks or sprocket teeth. But, since you've simulated mud, it's easy to refresh when the paint does come off. Just drive it through more mud!

Had about 1/2 hour of battles with my grandson (who won all of them) this week in my garage. Tracks paint held up well. Only the teeth (triangular shaped ones) on the inside of the tracks were striped of paint. Fake mud even stayed on well.
