Yes. Someone bought the King Tiger. And I just found out the buyer just wanted it to use the lower hull for a robot.

Yeah Rudy, it helped me get the Sherman. At that time when he mentioned the robot stuff, I got a little bummed out because of the hours I spent making all the hand tools, mounts, little details like the fuel vents, rear crank mount, stuff like that. It was his to do with what he wanted but I'd hoped it would go to a 'Good Home'.
BUT LATER, in our payment/shipping details, he said he ran rc tanks in the park close to where he lived. Said he was a grade school teacher and, though he wanted the KT to drive for himself, could use it without the turret to make a 'robot' to drive around.
Said he wouldn't harm the tank (cause it was HIS!) and wouldn't alter the tank just to show a 'robot' to the children.
Made me feel better that it won't be butchered, but enjoyed!
When I get the Sherman I'll take close pics of what it looks like and see how big a job it'll be to get it going. Glad summer is getting close!
