Just saw a '1/12 or 1/10 radio control Panther tank' on ebay for sale. It's all metal and in Massachusetts.

Looks like a good deal.

Found it. I searched radio control Panther and it was about seven or eight items down. Man, that thing as a real Beast. $2,100 seems like a lot of money but it seems like you also get a lot of tank.

Hi Gary! I would post a link but to tell the truth I don't know how...

I'm not 'computer literate', I'm a 'computer IDIOT'!

Yeah, it looks pretty good! Wish the seller would have told the maker and I'm curious as to how much it weighs. Hope somebody on here gets it!

Oh man, I want ! One of these days I will get a big rc tank. If it was 1/6 I would probably buy it now.

That's something that's been on my mind for a long while. I looked at 1/8 and 1/10, but there's sooo much more available for 1/6 scale. I like to have lots of other toys to go with my toys, and 1/6 seems to offer the best options for readily available accessories.

I would hazard a guess that the Panther is a one-off and in 1/10 scale; 1/10 scale Panther tracks are far more common than
1/12 scale tracks.... Interesting transmission, can't place it, may be original work as well. By the look of it it could have been made some while ago as it appears to have a level of detail common in 1/10 scale from about 20+ years ago.

I sent the seller a note as I'm curious as to the dimensions. Personally I'm not interested in the model as I have my own Panther G hull and most of the parts I need to make one up but it's so unusual for something like this to show up on ebay here I just am curious... Plus I already have 10 1/10 Panthers/ variants in my collection( 11 with the G hull ) and something would have to be far beyond cool for me to be moved...

Jerry
