Default Taigen tiger 1 track tension

Recently in my usual maintenance on my tiger tank I noticed that my track tension isn't staying where it should. I tighten the tracks and run it and they loosen up even on level terrain. Is there any way to fix this issue?

Well I'm thinking it might be either two things:
  • The piece that the screw you tighten on the bottom connects to (which is attached to the idler wheel arm) is starting to wear out a bit. Solution: add a drop or two of loctite to help lock in place (blue only please!) or you can replace it here: Tiger 1, Panther G, & Panther F Metal Rear Torsion Bar Assembly ? Taigen Tanks There is also a T1 kit manual on our site that does a great explanation of the installation if you need as well.
  • The idler wheel arm is broken. Pretty sure this isn't it as it would not tighten when you adjusted the track tension. These are also available in the parts section as well if you need.
Could you possibly post a picture for me so I can see to try and help out? Hopefully we can get you fixed before the weekend!
