Question Taigen 390 motor pinion

My brother bought a pair of these "Taigen 390" engines for his HL Leopard 2A6:

https://www.rctank.de/2-x-Taigen-390...-for-gearboxes

As can be seen on the photo, the pinion is seated all the way in, close to the motor.
Comparing the new motor (the black one) to the stock motor (the one on the right), the new motor pinion doesn't reach the gearbox.

How do you move the pinion on the motor shaft?
There is no set screw like on pinions for cars etc.

You need a pinion puller, like this one

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Universal...&wl13=&veh=sem

I found that with a quick google search for pinion puller, so you might check around to see if you can get it for less. This does happen to be the same brand as the one I have and it's a pretty good piece of kit.

Hope that helps.

That does help a lot!
I've never seen anything like this before.
Thanks!
