Default Bulldog Install

Hello all,
I have a Bulldog with no electronics. The wires from the turret have been cut and I have not traced them out yet. If I install a new syatem, the new HL or what ever, does the turret have to be connected to new board for tank to run the motors?
Thanks,
David

If I'm reading this right, no, the turret does not have to be connected to turn the tracks. Just unplug the 8 pin connector from the board and all upper hull functions are disconnected, but all lower hull functions will still work (motors, speaker and smoke).

Again thanks for the assistance to my questions. I searched youtube but it was not clear to me.
Thanks,

if you get the HL 2.4 GHz radio then of course you need the hl rxmb 2.4GHz board and the programming switch. Here's an example:

If you don't have the speaker yet, get the square Taigen instead of the round HL. It's much bettet
