Battleday at our new field in Kitchener this weekend!!!
Just thought I would start posting some info on our new field in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. We are about to rename our Club with 3 battlefields now here in Ontario. One in Kitchener, Fort Erie, and Mississauga....
Here is our current forum address and I will let everyone know our new name once it has been decided by club vote...

Thanks to Ed we have a lot of new drainage done! We had to let the field get rained on a few times (hard) to see the patterns of flow and were we could adapt and adjust so all our hard work doesn't get swept away so to speak!
so when I got to the field this morning I got to see Ed and Norma's work this past week. Awesome! Drainage ditches, culverts, bank reinforcement, etc... So today we did some cosmetic work putting more screened fill down in the top right quadrant and doing some adjustments to the drainage flow areas...
And of course once we put the new layer down Ed couldn't resist leaving his mark in the cement!
New bridge reinforcement
And the all new hill of death!!!
We cleaned up all the rocks from screening and as you can see we are making good progress on the clay sub soil over coat!
And thanks so much Ed for the jump start! sorry you had to go to Wally World on Sunday! More work to come this week and we will have a couple of surprises for Saturday. See you all then!
