What we need now is a tool rack to fit to the drivers side of the hood + some tool models, as well a siren and service lights set, tightly packed and all joined up as a set so that we can get Shapeways to run a load off - I did consider just buying a bunch of HL Sherman sprues, but that might work out more expensive given the number of trucks I have here...

Well I finally got the engine compartment attached to the cab the cab attached to the frame and the box attached to the frame plus a fuel tank made had to change the shape so I could get to the mounting screws for the cab if I need to take it off

Last year I sent a PM to Paco and said, Hey, Greg, Martin was generous enough to invite me into his fusion project (and the cool stuff in there will keep me busy for a long while) So how about if I print us a couple of CCKW kits and you put them both together, one for you, one for me. He was up for it and it turned out to be a pretty fun project and we worked together, hunting down stuff like headlights, material for canvass, rope, extra parts like jerry cans, Greg has lots of cool decals and he picked us up some very cool drivers and over time it all came together and today I got the truck back from Greg. He did a top notch job on this thing and all that's left is to install the electronics, which are all on hand, and repair the shipping damage. The hoops that hold up the canvass top all snapped off at the glue joint, but that's a very easy fix. I'll wait until I get the rest sorted before making the repairs, just for ease of access. The photo with the top is the truck in Colorado, before the contributions of the USPS, and the one without is here in Detroit.
Once it's running I'll do video. Thanks again to Greg for the excellent work and of course to Martin, who made it all possible. And you know, I have other truck kits waiting, like the Diamond T wrecker and the 6x6 WC62, all thanks to Martin. He's one helluva designer and when he was still an ex-pat he was here in Detroit so that makes him a home-boy so maybe that's why he looks out for me so well. If you wanna build a truck let me know and we'll see what we can do. If anyone wants to do a CCKW or a WC51 I might be willing to print you one, you can PM me if you're interested.
