Default Deciding between red or blue motor for heng long leopard 2a6.

Guys..i'm new in this hobby, and I want to upgrade my stock hl leopard 2a6 motors, eBay sells those two motors, but I can't decide which one has more power and speed.

if any of you guys ever tried these motor, please let me know which one is the one to get for my leopard 2a6,the red one or the blue one. the one that has more torque and speed for playing at my backyard..

red motor it is then, but I'm still using stock heng long 1800 MAH li-ion battery, is it has enough juice to run the red motors? or do I have to buy lipo instead?

On the long run you will definitely need LiPo. I use up at least one 4800MaH Lipo on a day of outdoor run. Make sure to get a proper charger - LiPo is very safe as long as you follow its instructions.

what worries me is toasting my stock rx18 ESC, it's the latest one though, the one with dual sounds, can it handle these red motors + lipo battery?

There should be no problem. To be completely safe you can install a fuse on the motor cable.

I use only 2cell lipo batteries in all my tanks and boards (ASP2, tamiya, heng long with chystals, ibu 2...) and no problem at all. Pick one with the more mah as possible so it will give you longer running times, I have not installed any fuse.

My old heng long rx18 has no problem running with the red motors, but the IBU 2 I had stalled when full throttle...
