Default Clark tk22 with tarr smoker

Just a general question regarding the tarr smoker. I'm using the clark tk22 which is limited to 7.4v but the smoker does produce too much smoke. Was wondering if anyone has done some wiring to run the smoker on 11.1v 3s lipo? But still running the board on 7.4v? Like tapping the power without damaging the board.

Short the switch port, plug in tk board port and connect a pair of wire to each motor cable. when you turn on engine sound it start to produce smoking. i have tk24 and tarr mk3.
