I bought this 21st Century toys way back when and finally found a cheap HL Pershing to be the base. I added Heng Long traverse and an elevation unit made from educational gears and the old traverse unit from a Hobby Engine Abrams. Made the light work with a Xenon Mini Mag light bulb. Only hard part was making the Gearbox align with the higher track run in the M48. I added a customized emitter LED and a Tamiya battle system on original Sherman Electronics. (MFU/DMD) Sorry no recoil at this time but the flash and emitter are in the tube and seem to work just fine!
