The threads no longer dim out and highlight to show which ones I have read and to show new posts. It doesn't do that any more no matter which platform Im on, PC Android or Ipad.
Kinda makes browsing the forum inefficient.

I guess they think we are smart enough to remember which threads we have read. They don't know me well enough, obviously.

There is an envelope on the left column. The envelope is open when there is a new post. When you read the post and go back again the envelope is closed.

It will also tell you if you have posted in the thread.

There is a down chevron("V") right before the title of the thread for threads with new posts. Click on the "V" icon to go to the new posts.
