Default FRAG May 26, 2018 Battleday Pictures

Take a look at our FaceBook page for lots of pics of our recent Battleday and the new European Freight Train that has been added. This and the P47 & FW190 airplanes that drop bombs are recent additions to our games. PP

Checked it out and really hope to venture there some day for a battle weekend. I love Colorado and know the west half like the back of my hand following all the old narrow gauge routes.

Rich: Come to the central part of CO and you can see DSP&P, C&S, DLG, RGS.... all not too far from Denver. Golden has a great NG Museum and Como up in the South Park has the old stone roundhouse, then drive the ROW over Boreas Pass to Breckenridge which has 4 pieces on display.... plus Baker Tank on the way own.... then ride the Georgetown Loop. You’ll need a week to see it all. Plus some time for armored tanks... LOL. PP

Oh I have spent many weeks in Colorado over my life. Rode all the trains. Last time I was at the museum was for Goose fest, where #4 turned a wheel for the first time in 70 years. There is film of me push starting #6 on youtube too. I have photos of me as a kid standing on #4 in the town square back when it was in To-hell-you-ride. One of my good friends is now chief engineer and restoration man there at the museum. I do need to get out there to see him. And hes a Sherman fan too with a tamiya :-)

Any chance you could post a link to the video on YouTube, for those of us that don't belong to Facebook?

I hope you don't mind if add a few pics to the thread. The first shows the scale locomotive. The second shows the aircraft (ready to traverse a cable and drop bombs on the field when commanded).

The best I can do is provide links to the videos......I believe you will be able to see them even if you do not have a Facebook account. The videos are in slowed motion.

P-47................................................ ............................................. FW-190
This is the first fight of the FW-190 https://www.facebook.com/17138696625...5322631524121/

This is the first bomb drop of the P-47. The bombs are very hard to see. https://www.facebook.com/17138696625...5321474857570/

Hope you enjoy our efforts to recreate WWII in miniature. PP

Very cool. The airplanes are a nice addition, and the train looks great.

I'm thinking August, before school starts. We have our Sherman back in service, it was in the shop when we came last year.
