Truly one of the saddest looking models I've seen in some time...

https://www.ebay.de/itm/EIN-LEOPARD-...UAAOSwuWha2NJZ

Begs the question as to where the heck was it stored... in a shed or basement somewhere I'd imagine. Appears as if it once was
a cleverly engineered thing.

It looks like it's been at the bottom of a lake for a couple decades. The sad part is, there are guys out there who will think that that is accurate weathering and they'll really like it.

Was it found in the cellar of a barn near Kursk?

Here's another one - only much larger and more expensive. $4000+ for an incomplete hull (10% finished) is crazy.

Cannot ship to USA: LOL

It may seem crazy but that model is pretty well made. Look at the detail photos; the parts that are there are very well executed. The torsion bar mounting point seems to have actual fine splines cut into the end- as a full sized one might.

Yeah, I saw that Abrams today too. It was an incomplete work of art. 1/6th scale tracks for an Abrams would easily run you over $650 to purchase. I remember asking Kenny Kong years ago about his 1/8 scale all metal sprockets, metal idler, and metal/rubber track for the 21st Century Bradley. He wanted $650 for the combo and that was 1/8th scale not 1/6th.

Actually, don't mean to be snooty however 650 is a steal. Tracks remain one of the more expensive items in any advanced tank build.

I didn't mean any disrespect to the builder - or any scratch builder. Having nearly completed a 1/6 scratch build tank myself - I know how much work is left to finish this thing.. What is there is nicely made. Agree the splined torsion bars are amazing. The laser cut steel hull is very cool but will be a bit overkill for weight. It will be a real tank to move and store for sure.
But $4000 for a very incomplete hull is a bit steep IMO, esp no motors, electronics or any detail parts.
Hopefully someone with the right skills, money and time can finish it out. It would be a shame to get this far and never get built.

You have to remember that those items are on ebay Germany, and being German myself I can say that most Germans will pay outrageous prices for their toys without batting an eye.
